Available Scientific & Technical Activities
The scope of each activity begins with the problem and data
This page describes activities that may be undertaken as a defined service or custom engagement after scientific and technical fit is reviewed. Method, scope and output are not fixed in advance.
01
Available Service
Genetic & Genomic Analysis
Genetic or genomic information is examined using methods appropriate to the question, data type and approved scope. The level of analysis and form of output depend on the quality and completeness of the inputs and do not necessarily constitute a clinical assessment.
02
Available Service
Sequencing Project Services
This route distinguishes sequence-data generation from downstream processing and analysis, with required components determined by the question, data type and project conditions. No performance characteristic or clinical use is assumed without confirmed evidence.
03
Custom Engagement
Health & Biomedical Data Analysis
Health or biomedical data may be examined using statistics, pattern recognition, machine learning or data-driven modeling appropriate to the data structure and question. The analytical scope and output are defined by each project’s objective and available data.
04
Custom Engagement
Medical Image Computing
Work may include preprocessing, segmentation, feature extraction, image analysis or three-dimensional reconstruction where relevant. Methods depend on modality, data quality and the scientific objective; output is not, by itself, a medical diagnosis.
05
Custom Engagement
Computational Bioengineering, Modeling & Simulation
Modeling may combine engineering principles, biological or physiological data, numerical methods and simulation. Every model is interpreted only within its defined assumptions, parameters and data.
06
Custom Engagement
Custom Health-Technology Development
The problem and its constraints are examined before a method is selected, after which the feasibility of developing an appropriate method, tool or system can be assessed. Scope is determined only after data, objectives and technical requirements are clarified.
Service Scope
Each request is considered in its actual context
An available or custom engagement status does not imply a guaranteed outcome, fixed timing, fixed pricing, clinical validation or regulatory approval. Scope and deliverables depend on the objective, inputs and conditions of each request.
