About Liorazi

An interdisciplinary organization in biological science and health technology

Liorazi works at the intersection of genetics, biological science, data analysis, computational methods, medical imaging, modeling and engineering.

How is a biomedical question investigated?

Health and biomedical questions are often not limited to one data type or discipline. Their investigation may require biological knowledge, statistical analysis, computational methods and engineering principles.

What determines method selection?

Data type, input quality and completeness, the scientific question and activity objective determine which method or combination of methods is appropriate. No single method is assumed to fit every problem.

How do technology and analysis relate?

Technology may generate or organize data, while analysis examines its structure, patterns or relationships. In some activities, modeling or simulation forms an additional and distinct layer.

How are limitations communicated?

Each activity should be described according to its actual status, assumptions, evidence scope and data limitations. Research or computational output is interpreted only within that context and is not, by itself, a medical diagnosis.
